Terms and Conditions

This plan can be availed by registered / non-registered users / customers on the elebus™ platform by selecting the option of elebus™ Assurance Program to protect their travel under the policy.

This program will be applicable only to the trips booked through the elebus™ platform. The protection cover under this program starts when the person takes the onward bus and ends when the trip is completed, or a maximum period of 15 days from the trip (whichever is earlier).

Trip Cancellation by Bus Operator

elebus™ will credit the sum assured to customer’s elebus™ wallet if the aforesaid customer's booked and confirmed journey is cancelled prior to the scheduled departure by the Bus Operator. The money added to elebus™ wallet can be used for future bookings on elebus™ platform without any restriction till 1 year from the date of credit, post which it would expire.

This protection cover will be applicable when Bus operator cancels the bus and does not provide a replacement bus within 24 hours.

The following cases will not be covered under this policy in cases wherein:

  1. The Bus breaks down after having left the source.
  2. Customer misses the bus.

Maximum timeline for claim creation will be 15 days from the date of travel. Customers can file a claim for any of these coverage on the elebus™ Website or App. Alternatively, the customer can reach elebus™ customer support to register their claim

elebus™ shall not be liable to the customer in any manner whatsoever for any failure or delay in performing its obligations as stated above due to force majeure. Force majeure means any cause beyond the reasonable control of a Party such as governmental action, war, rioting, civil commotion, fire, flood, epidemic, including lockdown, labour dispute involving the workforce or any part thereof of the Party or an Act of God.

Travel Terms & Conditions

elebus™ is ONLY a bus ticket specialist and has an excellent network of bus operators they work with. In order to extend a comprehensive suite of offerings it has a large tie up with this operator network bringing the best price for your requirement. elebus™ advises the traveller to choose a bus operator they are familiar with and services they feel assured about.

elebus™ responsibilities include:

  1. Issuing a valid ticket (a ticket that will be accepted by the bus operator) for its' network of bus operators
  2. Providing refund and support in the event of cancellation
  3. Providing customer support and information in case of any delays / inconvenience

elebus™ responsibilities include:

  1. The bus operator's buses, not departing / reaching on time
  2. The bus operator's employee’s behaviour
  3. The bus operator's bus seats etc not being up to the customer's expectation
  4. The bus operator cancelling the trip due to unavoidable reasons
  5. The baggage of the customer getting lost / stolen / damaged
  6. The bus operator changing a customer's seat at the last minute to accommodate a lady / child
  7. The customer waiting at the wrong boarding point (please call the bus operator to find out the exact boarding point if you are not a regular traveller on that particular bus)
  8. The bus operator changing the boarding point and/or using a pickup vehicle at the boarding point to take customers to the bus departure point

The departure time mentioned on the ticket are only tentative timings. However, the bus will not leave the source before the time that is mentioned on the ticket.

Passengers are required to furnish the following at the time of boarding the bus:

  1. A copy of the ticket (A print out of the ticket or the print out of the ticket e-mail).
  2. A valid identity proof

Failing to do so, they may not be allowed to board the bus.

Change of bus: In case the bus operator changes the type of bus due to some reason, elebus™ will refund the differential amount to the customer upon being intimated by the customers in 24 hours of the journey.

Amenities for this bus as shown on elebus™ have been configured and provided by the bus provider (bus operator). These amenities will be provided unless there are some exceptions on certain days. Please note that elebus provides this information in good faith to help passengers to make an informed decision. The liability of the amenity not being made available lies with the operator and not with elebus™.

In case one needs the refund to be credited back to his/her bank account, please write your cash coupon details to bus ticket online * The home delivery charges (if any), will not be refunded in the event of ticket cancellation

In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' as long as the ticket shows up on the confirmation page of elebus.in

Grievances and claims related to the bus journey should be reported to elebus™ support team within 10 days of your travel date.


ele bites Terms & Conditions

  1. In the event that the food item cannot be made available on board for any reason, elebus™ may, at its discretion, either offer an alternate snack item (as per availability), or a full refund (by way of a credit of the value equivalent to the amount paid by the passenger for the meal in the wallet ) to the passenger, with no further liability.
  2. elebus™ cannot be held responsible for the taste, quality, quantity or ingredients of any product (as applicable). Actual products may differ in appearance from the images displayed here. Prices do not include applicable taxes.
  3. Meal can be booked up to 4 hours before departure through Manage My Booking.

  5. Gold Class members can also call and request for Pre Booking facility
  6. All pre-book meals come with a complimentary drink as well
  7. The provision of the products or services, advertised program or meals is subject to availability.
  8. Changes to pre-booked meals may only be done more than 4 hours prior to bus departure time from the Origin Point. Guests must pay the price difference if the price of the new meal booked is higher than original meal paid.
  9. The e ticket is proof of purchase of the pre-booked meal and must be presented to the staff while handover of the pre-booked meal
  10. elebus™ reserves the right to change, amend and/or withdraw any of these terms & conditions without any reason and at any time, without prior notice
  11. Refund if Passenger cancels
    • Passenger cannot cancel this service on standalone basis
    • This service will be refunded for passengers who cancel the booking partially or fully - 12 hrs prior to departure.
    • In case of date change, this service will be transferred to the new booking
    • No refund will be provided in case of no-show or passengers who do not avail this service in spite of purchasing the same
  12. Refund if elebus™ cancels
    • This service will be refunded in case of the BUS cancellations

ele Studio Terms & Conditions

  1. In the event that the ele studio item cannot be made available on board for any reason, elebus may, at its discretion, either offer an alternate snack item (as per availability), or a full refund (by way of a credit of the value equivalent to the amount paid by the passenger for the meal in the wallet) to the passenger, with no further liability.
